Fair use, in plain English.

Effective 5 July 2026 · forms part of our Terms & Conditions (§4). The short version: generous numbered allowances, prepaid top-ups only, alerts before anything costs extra, and a human-ready fallback if AI ever pauses. You can never be surprise-billed.

1 · Definitions

What we count, exactly.

SMS segment160 characters (GSM). Longer texts and emoji use more segments — we flag long templates before sending campaigns.

UGC/avatar-style 30-second AI advert videoOne video up to 30 seconds, delivered in 9:16, 1:1, 4:5 and 16:9, with one revision round. Hybrid AI cinematic adverts produced with an experienced creative director are add-ons from £500, or £250 each for Growth and Scale subscribers.

"Fair use" on non-metered AI lines means usage consistent with operating one business of your plan's size. Automated bulk generation, resale of AI output as a service, or usage patterns that resemble a call centre rather than a business's own reception fall outside fair use — we'll contact you before anything changes.

3 · The prepaid wallet

How overage is paid — never by surprise.

Every plan includes monthly wallet credit — £25 Essential · £50 Growth · £100 Scale — which absorbs small overages automatically. Beyond that, usage draws from prepaid top-ups (card on file, £25 steps, cap adjustable by you). You get alerts at 80% and 100% of any allowance. If your wallet is empty and a recharge fails, AI pauses gracefully: calls route to voicemail with instant missed-call text-back, chat hands to a contact form, and we're notified to follow up personally. Your subscription and every non-AI system keep running. If you sit at 100% of a band two months running, we'll show you the maths — the next tier is nearly always cheaper than overage.

4 · Full pay-as-you-go rate card

5 · The small print that matters

Terms for usage & allowances.

Allowances reset on your billing date and do not roll over. Purchased wallet credit doesn't expire while your subscription is active but is non-refundable. Rates above may change with 30 days' written notice; changes never apply retrospectively and never mid-way through a prepaid balance. Marketing messages on any channel require recipient consent under UK GDPR and PECR — consent capture is built into every form we ship, and we may pause sending that breaches it. Outbound AI calling runs only on lists with documented consent. These provisions form part of your agreement together with our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
